Welcome to Kispiox Valley Rodeo Club
The 79th Annual Kispiox Valley Rodeo returns June 5, 6 & 7, 2026 at the Kispiox Valley Rodeo Grounds, 25 km north of Hazelton.
Since 1947, the Kispiox Valley has welcomed contestants, families, volunteers, sponsors, musicians, vendors and rodeo fans for a weekend rooted in western heritage, Gitxsan territory, community spirit and old-fashioned hospitality.
Rodeo Performances
Saturday & Sunday at 1:00 PM. Friday includes Ranch Hand Competition, BCBRA Barrels and the Friday Night Dance.

Local entries open May 22, 2026, 4:00–8:00 PM by phone at 778-202-0510, with online entries also available during this transition year.
BCRA Member Entries
BCRA contestants should use the official BCRA entry process. Callbacks are June 2, 2026, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM at 250-255-7110.

Gitxsan Territory Acknowledgement
We recognize that our rodeo comes together among the mountains, forests and rivers on the unceded, traditional lands of the Gitxsan Nation and specifically the Lax Yip, the traditional territory of Wilp Ma-uus.
We honour that it is on this territory that we are able to continue the annual Kispiox Valley Rodeo, a tradition started by Gitxsan and settlers in 1947.
The Biggest Little Rodeo in the West
Hundreds of volunteer hours go into keeping this tradition strong every year. Whether you are coming to compete, camp, dance, cheer from the bleachers, enjoy BBQ beef or bring the kids for a full weekend of fun, we are glad to welcome you back to the Valley.

Rodeo Weekend Highlights
4:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Gates open, Ranch Hand Competition, BCBRA Barrels and Friday Night Dance.
Pancake breakfast, wagon rides, beer gardens, rodeo performance, youth dance and licensed dance.

Admission & Camping
Adult admission is $35/day or $60/weekend. Camping is $75/unit for the weekend, with no reservations. Early bird camping is $100/unit for Thursday entry.
Editor note: confirm senior/student day-pass price before publishing. One source says $30/day; the gate-fee spreadsheet says $35/day.
Dances & Entertainment
Friday and Saturday licensed dances start at 10:00 PM. Tickets are $30 plus gate admission. Live music both nights by MOONDOGS.
